Cool pix's. Here's my pet picture for the day. Homemade dog treats. I don't know what all goes in there but I know there is doggie peanut butter that's $13 for a very small jar. I am almost tempted to try a treat.

Well I sit here with 1/2 hour to go before Morgan is supposed to be at the vet....I've tried to approach her a couple times and off she goes. She's due for a distemper shot, which I'm not all that concerned about, but I wanted to talk to the vet about the over grooming.

I've left a message for a mobile veterinary service, maybe that's the way we will have to deal with Morgan. Wonder if they bring some kind of snare along if the cat they are coming to see is hiding under a bed when they show up?

I'm starting to think Morgan will get room and board from us and not much more. She can be a love, but she's almost feral if the human tries to control the human contact. Maybe I need to just let her be......I know giving this cat a pill is not going to happen. Tricking her into taking a pill is also unlikely. I've never had a cat that walks away from people tuna or other tempting food like this one does.

I know many people don't bother bringing house cats to the vet annually. A walk in vet would be good, as then I could take her in when I could catch her......

To be continued.....

you need a toy on a string to tease her into her crate.

Got one...tried to use it and get next to her...nope. She was just sitting on the loveseat. I sat next to her and petted her once and she took off. Called the vet. I can bring her in at 3:40 vs 2:00. We will see. Also have calls into two mobile vets as well. There is also a walk in/urgent care vet in Plymouth. Nice to know.....

Lainey, sorry you are having such a hard time with your feline! They definitely have a mind of their own. We are lucky in that our cat Daisy is a sweetheart when it comes to being picked up and put in her carrier. She is even good to the techs at the vets. Most nights she curls up on my lap while we are watching TV.

Good luck!

And look who is visiting me now that its too late to go to the vet. I'm sure she will be sitting right by my side later.

They are.
I can bring her to the vet anytime on Wednesday AMs and the tech will trim her nails. I've been lucky in getting her there for that. She likes to claw things she shouldn't. The other issues will have to wait for now....
This is my last cat......
