Thanks, everyone. We almost didn't bring Thelma home from the shelter in 2011. She was very skittish, we could not hold her, etc. But my sweet sappy animal loving husband really felt she needed to have a home. She had been in the shelter a while. Thelma was still a bit skittish, didn't like to be held, but loved affection and once she felt comfortable, she'd approach you. She'd sit on Rick's lap almost every evening, as long as he put a blanket over his legs...weird. She slept on our bed most nights. When we'd arrive home she was often in the window as we pulled into the driveway. I think she knew the sounds of our vehicles, especially the S2000. She turned into a real love. Dogs have people, cats have staff. We were happy to be her staff.

Sorry Lainey that was a life cut short as many live twice that but I know she was spoiled while she was here.

Sorry to hear about Thelma. She was kind of a celebrity with all her pictures.
