Zion. I'm hoping to take him from California to Colorado on my flight, Thursday, February 20th. So far that isn't even possible cuz he runs when I get within 10 ft of him. That is a problem.

Uhoh. Has he always been like that or since you do not see him all the time?

He's worse than he was when I lived in California but he has always been like that. I believed that you could get a skittish cat to be friendly with patience and love but he's proved me wrong. I got him as an 8 week old kitten and he hid behind the washing machine for 3 weeks. I've had vet appointments for him that I had to cancel because I couldn't catch him. I think he misses Ricky. If I can get him to Colorado I think he'll be much happier with Talia. He seems to like other cats, just not humans, so he may be happy with Maury and Atticus.

We had one of those. She changed when she became older and would sleep right next to me. The only way I caught her when she was young, and that only once, was by slowly pulling the blanket she was sleeping on until at last with one quick tug she and the blanket fell into to upended cat cage. Sure had to be quick with closing the door. The vet "gassed" her so that he could deal with her.

Good luck with Zion.

Our Thelma will sit on us if we have a blanket on our laps, she will sleep on our bed, but it she who decides when she wants to hang out. If you approach her she often walks away and if you pick her up, you might have 10 seconds before she is DONE! I'm not sure if it's because she was a shelter kitty for so long. Other have said tortise color cats have an attitude.

Her dental procedure is Thursday. Poor kitty.

I have put his wet treat food in my bathroom area where he can't hide and he ate it when I wasn't home. That's my only chance, I think. If I get him in there I can catch him.
