I decided to table my efforts for the time being looking for a dog. I have a much better idea of what's available these days and the cost. But before I leave the subject I have to show you this facility for a Canadian breeder. Human hospitals should be this nice.

12-29-2019. My kitten killed a black mouse by drowning it. The silver cup provided the liquid when Maury knocked it over on my desk while vigorously jumping up to attack a spot on the outside window screen.

I like the new blue mouse better although they are the exact same model.

Have you ever tried the Logitech "wave" keyboard? I love it.

No, I haven't. I'm okay with the one I plugged in last night, which is not the one pictured above as that one died yesterday, too. Why do you like the wave keyboard? The one I'm using now is the one that came with the PC and it works okay. The one that just died had a bad "3" key so I was glad it died and I had to get this one out although I'm not crazy about it being a plug in. Here we go, again. My cats like to be near me. At least I put the lid on the coffee today.

LOL, I like having Thelma nearby but not on my desk! You need a new mousepad too. I've had a few made with my photos....
Here's my current one

Our dog is a rescue dog. Dont really see myself going out of my way to get a specific breed. I kinda like choosing from the mutts and finding that one that fits us! Our current dog (Diego) was a rescue from Cancun that was brought up by the sister rescue here in Minneapolis. We just hopped online and were looking for dogs, saw him an decided to go meet him! Have had him for 10 1/2 years now. He is showing his age some, but still loves to shake and throw his toys and chase after rabbits and squirrels!

The advantages of a wave keyboard - The idea is that spacing out your hands and working at the correct angle can help reduce strain on your neck, back, and shoulders, and perhaps prevent repetitive stress injuries to your hands and wrists like carpal tunnel. I've used them for years and anytime I have to use a conventional keyboard I hate it. And they are not expensive. Got my last one at Best Buy.

I've never used one. I have bigger issue with the keyboard not being at the proper height on my desk at home. I get neck, shoulder aches if I spend too long at my desk. At work I had the slide out for the keyboard which is preferable. The desk I have won't accommodate a slide out for the keyboard.
