I have passed any and all compliments along to the dogs. As a result, it seems that they are now demanding additional treats. Never mind, I almost forgot that this is their normal behavior. (As it is we recently had to cut back on our Lab’s food proportions, he is not exactly what one would call “on board” with the plan.)

Thank you, Lainey. He may not be the best looking adult cat but he's so sweet! He's the sweetest kitten I've had since Zoro, my Siamese cat from April 1997 until I put him down on July 16, 2013.

^That was my-best-dog-ever, Kyras, with Zoro.

Thank you. Hopefully the house stays that way. You've reminded me that my wife and I nicknamed our first Golden "the renovator" when he was just a few months old after multiple incidents which included tearing out a chunk of kitchen wall.

Maury is cute with a face that says "look into my eyes, you will now do as I say". As far as Siamese cats go, my wife had one that lived to be 18. She had him before she and I met and he was there through our dating period, our wedding, first house, the birth of our child, etc.. You get the picture. However, he could be anything but sweet at times. The most dramatic incident involved an urgent call from our our veterinarian's office — there had been an incident involving "Boo Boo". Apparently Boo Boo had literally cornered both our vet (a family friend) and his assistant in the examination room. I can no longer recall just what exactly happened, but at some point Boo eded up biting completely through our vet's hand between his thumb and forefinger. There were plenty of other stories involving Boo Boo's dark side, my wife being his primary target (but nothing to the extent of the vet. saga) Through it all my wife was actually allergic to him. We now have a pseudo-memorial to Boo Boo that hangs in our basement...

Yeah, Siamese have a reputation of being mean. My dad had one like that that no one could pet. I have one now, Zion, who's skittish but never mean. He just runs away. He was that way when I got him and I had thought he'd grow out of it but he's six years-old now. Sometimes he'll let you pet him and he'll make biscuits but not often. I've had Siamese since my first one when I was 16, 45 years ago. I love the breed. I got Zion in 2013 and then got a Bengal, Talia, a few weeks later.

Maury woke me up this morning by licking my face. He's a cute little nut case.

When I was a kid, our family got a Siamese cat. His or her name was Cannibal. That should tell you every thing you need to know.
