OK cat owners heads up!!
it has been a long time since I have owned a cat.
not to be indelicate but there is one task which always sucked, has it got any better with clever gadgets or such?

The nice thing about Titan is I just open the back door, point him to the woods and the problem addresses itself.

I've picked out a great name, TC, short for Titan's Cat.

I don't mind it too much. The cat litter has probably improved since you had a cat. I will take photos of the litter and scoop I use when I get home. I'm on a ride.

This is the litter and scoop I use. It's better than the other stuff I've used over the years. Do you buy from Chewy.com? They have the best prices around for food, etc. I just ordered heated cat beds from them this weekend. My new kitten keeps siting on the heater vets so I think he needs one. I've also bought Armarkat cat trees from them at least three times. They are great posts that arrive in a box and you assemble.

If you want something automatic, Chewy has some offerings. Automatic Cat Boxes

^$12.99 metal scoop. DuraScoop.

^10-13-2019. Maury on a heater vent.

^12-24-2015. Talia in the heated bed in CA.

^10-31-2013. Newly assembled Amarkat post next to the old standby.

^10-31-2019. The pieces out of the box.

^10-31-2013. Instructions. Even easy for me to put together.

^11-27-2013. Talia on the new post.

^9-1-2015. Talia and Zion on the Amarkat post. It's still in excellent condition.

^6-24-2016. Talia on the top of the same post.

Oh, you shouldn't have said that!

It's all your fault!

^^ Looks as though your cat(s) may overspray their litterbox. I have a very large cat that once did the same, but it’s not a problem after purchasing two plastic storage containers and cutting an access hole in them.

Gary, my Siamese cat, Zion, likes to stand on the edge and piss on the wall. He's horrible. We have dog training pads taped to the wall.

I'll have too look into doing what you have ^there. I'm flying back to California on Thursday for the ElliptiGO rally weekend. I'll copy that photo as a reminder. Thank you!
