Patty - your home should have a sign that reads: "Tresspassers Will Be Eaten"

Only if they're cats. German Shepherds look big and bad but they are usually very friendly, like mine. I do have a sign that says Guard Dogs with a German Shepherd drawn on it but that's just to keep the solicitors out.

Yes indeedy. Would you open the gate with 2 or 3 German Shepherds barking at you? The Sheppy I had before these 3, Kyras, was big and sweet but he scared the shit out of a few people. Once, a guy came to the side door of our house, not the front door. I opened the door and Kyras lunged for the guy's crotch. He didn't bite, just scared him. That was a favorite trick of his. Another time, I had 2 solicitors on my front porch trying to sell me something, and Kyras was right by my side, and would NOT stop barking at them the entire time. I think he knew they were no good.

Ever since a friends Husky bite me a few years back I am a little leery of big dogs I hate myself for being this way becasue I love animals and was riased my whole life with dogs!
I was amazed how many door to door solicitors came knocking around election time This isnt the 1900's anymore where you could trust people and open your home up If we are not expecting company we do not answer the door....that and Clyde the 23# love wasn't scaring anyone away
