For the record Titan is not allowed on the furniture.
Lately however he has taken to leaning up against it and slowly but surely his buttocks has been inching it's way on.
A little lift of the leaning side leg ...

but see my feet's are on the floor Dad...

It's sort of like late fifties TV where the characters always had to have one foot on the floor.

forgive the potato quality photos,

^Titan had to touch her! It's not his fault that the ottoman was in the way.

Jerry, that is one big dog. I would need a bigger house if I had one like that!

For the last ten years I’ve passed a Mastiff on my daily walk. It would always bark at me two or three times with a deep throat in protective manner -- I would toss it a milk bone, which it would ignore. On the return leg of my walk the milk bone was always gone but the bark continued. The dog disappeared in late October and I fear the worst. It was a beautiful creature…tan with a dark muzzle and ears.

^ Yeah, I owned two over the years - Elke and Sadie. Both lived to twelve years old. Beautiful dogs, but a bit neurotic. They used to climb up in my lap, which was an interesting experience. You couldn't see much of me under all those legs sticking out. That's a nice pointer, too. My uncle had lots of hunting dogs - setters, pointers, Labs, etc.

Nice pics. 'Windhund' looks very German. Is your user name connected with your dogs?

"Windhund" is the German word for greyhound. "116" = Panzer division in WW2, that used that nickname. Famous armored unit that faced Allies on the Western Front. Yeah, I'm kinda a history nut, too.

I got the clever idea to update this photo with a current shot with titan in the lazy boy recliner with me.
apparently we got the center of mass a little wrong.

and an additional side note. as for 125 pounds of dog bouncing of your chest.... ooof

He probably won't be climbing into any chairs with me soon.
