Since I've retired, I've been working on a list of day trips, places we have been meaning to go to, but never have. We went to the borough of Stonington, CT a few weeks ago and enjoyed. We went to Block Island, RI as well, also an enjoyable time. We backed off a bit as it was too darn hot to "play tourist the last couple of weeks. We did make a few trips to the Cape Cod canal which is always cooler and pleasant to walk on the path and watch the boats come and go. We spent a few hours at the beach this week, haven't done that in a long while. It's nice to do these things mid week, avoiding most of the crowds. Tomorrow we are going to Gloucester, MA. Lots of fishing history, as well as other things of interest. We will start with a tour of a "castle" from there head downtown, maybe take a harbor tour, a walking tour and see where the wind blows us. There may be a brewery too. We don't plan to rush the day and will likely have dinner before heading home, so we don't get stuck in commuter traffic.

I’ve been doing kind of the same thing as you guys this summer. It’s funny how you live near all these tourist attractions for decades and never spend the time to see them.

Castle looks cold and old. Maybe that's why you've put it off.

No comments on the song. . . you have to listen to it awhile to enjoy the parity!

It was old, not cold, but dark...I won't win any photography awards for my photos today, but still a most enjoyable day in Gloucester.
No organ concert today.
