Regarding below pic didn't Rambler use a torque tube drive back in the 50's? Our granddaughter's "new to her 2008 VW GTI has paddle shifters and dual clutches also. I think she spent less $ than you.

I strongly suspect she did at that.
but while I could be wrong, I don't think Rambler used Carbon fiber in their torque tube.
Lainey, you been in the sauce? you're feisty tonight!

I took this image off of Facebook from a neighborhood group near mine in California that I'm part of for the fire post information, mainly. The poster of this photo was complaining about the cook and counter woman in this restaurant but when I first saw the image I thought it was a joke. Poke and ram in? I'm a naughty girl.

Took another practice at retirement day today. No more days off scheduled until the BIG day on 3/29. I grabbed a class at the Y this AM, and a cookie after, Came home, bundled up and went off with one of the Y ladies to seek out the snowy owl. No luck! But it was really a pleasant winter's day near the ocean. I wasn't cold at all, very little wind. We did see a seal, plenty of sea gulls, the sandpipers and a few ducks I had not seen before. Mass Audubon informs me I saw the Harlequin Ducks.

We shared a sandwich at a gift shop/cafe. Such a pleasant day.

It was nice to be out and about. Managed to walk about three miles in addition to the Y class. The cookie is just a temporary set back.

This is one of the main reasons I don't mind driving an old rusty truck in Michigan. We had a very light icing of the roads yesterday. The salt truck showed up at 7:30am and laid this down on the side road beside my house.
