Exactly. If I had the space I would get extra rims and tires and just swap them out but as it is I already have tires stacked in my dining room. I always buy decent performance tires and replace them before they are fully worn but through a series of events over the last few years I have ended up with a mish-mosh of tires so now that I have time I’m going to get it set up with some good meats again.

If you have access to a mounting machine you can swap left and right at mid-life by unmounting and remounting on the other side.

Don't feel bad Robb, I have had the same discovery in the past when I had my S2k and sadly on my AMG GTS.
The GTS buggers are expensive and sadly dry rot has never been an issue.

I after some of the first tire sets wore out unevenly I went with non-directional tires and it solved the issue for me without having to dismount the tires from the rims. Just rotate left to right on the same axles, you can still get some good performance tires that are non-directional

I've never been a fan of changing direction of rotation.
Whenever I rotated between rear and front I would get them rebalanced after a few thousand.

I’m going to check with the local Indy shop here in town on Monday and see what their availability is to mount a new tire. They are always slammed but it’s worth a shot.

Our exciting day, we got our flu shots. Rick was brave and asked for the Covid booster at the same time. Same arm too. I'll get the Covid booster in two weeks, he'll get the RSV vaccine.

I was undecided as to if I wanted to get yet another Covid shot. My SC sister and brother in law have both been dealing with Covid for the last week or so. Nasty cough, fatigue, and my sister loss her sense of taste. That was not as common with the last couple of variants. So, I'll roll up my sleeve...........again.

Covid can increase your odds of other health issues down the line. Severe cases in which you are hospitalized, more so. Though we may be vaccine weary, I guess the vaccines continue to be a good idea.
Heart attack, stroke risk, increase after Covid

Who knew 4 years ago, covid would have subsided enough so as to not even be in it's own thread anymore.
