Gary, hope you can recover soon. Jerry, I am a side sleeper and found it very difficult to sleep in a recliner.

Good news Gary is they are probably pulling the packing today right?
I had a pair of tampons, one on each side. I can't describe the relief when they come out.
It's quite a dramatic transition afterwards. It's quite good.
It's probably late news now but I found refuge in my recliner.

They don't pack anymore. You wear a strap with gauze under your nose to allow it to drain. You use a sinus rinse a few times a day.
Other than a little groggy from no sleep, and Cindy locking me in the house, I'd be out doing something today already.

Were you being evaluated for sleep apnea? Are you referring to the Inspire implant?
About three years ago, my husband got the Inspire implant.
Here is a thread about his experiences.

I had one study already and it was considered minor. Mon the scale it was a 17 iirc. The doc also read the report that is prominent when I’m on m6 back which I rarely am.
its my understanding that inspire is a last resort after cpap etc… fail.
i suspect that I’ll have a sleep study In a few months, at a facility not at home to get a confirmation and a path forward if necessary. Ty for the info..

Are you one of those Vintage people who show up really early for an event, dinner, or whatever? We try to be punctual, maybe a couple minutes late, never too early. My brother in law is one who always wanted to be early, so my sister used to tell him whatever even they were going to started 15 minutes later than he thought....
This evening there is a cruise night in the center of our little town. I just ran an errand at 3:30. The cruise night starts at 5:00. By 3:30 there was already an older couple, (not REALLY old) set up in their chairs. I guess I'm not as old as I thought as there is no way I'd be 90 minutes early for an event.

We are the last to show up and the last to leave - that's how its always been and it is not going to change.

Somethings I try to get there right on time while other times I am early.

For things like medical and dental appointments, I usually get there somewhat early. Definitely not 90 minutes early, though!
For something like a concert, play, football game, restaurant reservation, etc, we try to get there early.
At someone’s home, say for dinner or whatever, we try to get there exactly on time.
