I guess I've gotten inured to it all Sue, I had my eldest fall of the face of the earth for 8 weeks.
He just plain old disappeared.
He didn't use his cell phone whatsoever from from massive amounts before that then one day it just shut off.
We didn't know if he was in a jail, a hospital, a ditch or a morgue. We had the discussion would we ever see him alive again.
that is until one day we don't a text message asking for help followed by a phone call.
He was in Nepal and needed money to get home.

My son has had a terrible motorcycle accident and after almost losing his right hand (9 surgeries to save it), he went out and bought another motorcycle. Everytime he takes it out I re-live his accident 6 years ago. I keep telling myself he's doing what he loves but I still worry about him and my grown daughter. Its what mothers do.

My sweetheart was nice enough to buy me a new iPad today. My old one was five years old and finally ran out of internal storage to run system updates. So just transferred everything over to the new. Took awhile but worked out fine. Got a pencil this time and finally made Touch ID work. So overall very happy.

We are having one of the nicest weather days and I'm tied up with other stuff, unable to enjoy it. I went to the Y this morning, for a pedicure after lunch (don't want winter feet in sandals next week), now we are waiting for the vet tech to come by and trim Morgan's claws. Morgan is in her crate, I'm hoping the vet tech didn't forget us. I didn't get an answer to my text. Kind of a wasted afternoon, but stuff needs to get done.

Tomorrow afternoon we are waiting for the gas man to come by to do a required inspection on our gas meter. Hope he makes it here early. We also need to break down the guest room a bit for the painter who comes next week, and pack stuff for our trip. Doesn't look like we will have much time to enjoy the nice weather we are getting.....

It's in the low 70's here and while I was/am waiting for my email that my taxes are done enough that I know what to $end to CA, CO and the IRS, I got in a nice ElliptiGO ride. Of course I had an uphill headwind that changed to an downhill headwind. Now there's no breeze at all. Oh, well. If I can get the tax stuff handled soon enough I'm going to drive up to Estes Park in the S2000 for fun.

I've got the paper work to write and send the checks. Then it's off to the post office and Estes Park.

I’m going for a nice ride tomorrow. My friend bought a Corvette and I’m taking him up to get it. It will be close to a five hour round trip.
