This popped up on my FB page today. Gave me a chuckle. Senior moments continue....
Senior moment yesterday. Tried (more than once) to use auto start on the car since it was chilly. I didn't hear the little "beeps" when the car starts. I got closer to the window with the remote to try again and then realized the problem. The car wasn't there. Hubby and I had switched cars for the day. New "sneakers" for the Jeep.

Glad I listened to my wife. All the rest of you guys do, right? She said to completely turn off the water supply until repairs were made. Serviceman replaced the well pressure tank, as I suspected, but also found bad wiring under the well cap which was causing an overload. Given the two conditions he said it could have burnt up the well pump.

Glad you listened. We have a policy in our business that we toast the day. I guess we ran out of cheap white wine so they found their own solution. It was so cool they all had to go get their picture taken.
I like their slogan.

We went to a small town festival yesterday that's an hour away. They have been having it for nearly 30 years and we hadn't been to it in many years. A 2-day event but Sat. was rain all day, so Sun. it was packed even with a high of 52°. At a minimum of 150 arts & crafts spaces, 50 food spaces, and another 50 non-profit spaces. All of main street and all the side streets were filled with vendors and people.

Other than food and kids rides I don't know how anyone could make any money out of sitting there all day. Space after space after space with trinkets and trash for sale. Every street was wall-to-wall people but we didn't see anyone actually buying or carrying something. Still we had a good time just people watching, a couple adult beverages, and broasted chicken from a brewery a few miles outside of town.

I guess there's hope for us as we get older. We sent a get well card to an old employee of ours today. Amazing woman. Jeanie just turned 97. She slipped and fractured her hip. They did microscopic surgery a week ago and she's back home and walking. Another marvel of modern medicine. Her daughter works for us and she keeps us up to date on her Mom.

I have used this tree trimmer dozens of times. Best climber ever. Today I had him removing some locus tree branches that were hanging over the roof.

I love having a reliable tree trimmer. I have my palm tree trimmers coming tomorrow to my CA house only this time it will be the son of the normal guy. It scares me to see them climb the trees with their saws swinging from their belt.
