Nice day in retirement. Went to Newport, RI so I could take the pics of the umbrella installation. Too hot in the downtown area, headed to Fort Adams for a walk on the water. Not much cooler. I felt like I was melting. Headed next to Breton Point to eat our packed lunches. All these stops are well known in Newport, as is Del's Lemonade Grabbed one of those to have with my lunch. Very refreshing.
Came home for a while, got cleaned up and headed out once more for a late afternoon ride. Found a little place for a burger for me and a chicken sandwich for Rick. Nice casual place and the beers were only $5.00 and $5.50 vs the $9.00 and $10.00 we've seen lately. Food was good, we'll stop there again. Looked like a place for the locals.

Rob, in our area a few places are making "linguica " cakes, just like clam cakes only with linguica. We had some the other week and they were totally delicious.
For those not familiar Linguica

I have a question for serious golfers like Gary.I play with Titleist true feel golf balls. On the ball they put true feel opposite the Titleist name and ball number. I notice that a lot of pro golfers put a line on their ball to see if the ball is struck square which makes the ball roll true. I read that the line is drawn, in my case, on the small true feel name on the ball as that is the center of the ball. I am trying to improve my putting and wanted to get some feedback on this issue I have ordered 2 devices which clamp the ball and allow you to draw those lines accurately.Thanks.
