Lainey, since you brought it up, when you posted the photo of you and the cat behind your head, I didn’t see any gray hair. I thought, good for you, or maybe you had just been to the hairdresser and had it colored. I wasn’t going to ask then, but I’m still curious, again, since you mentioned graying. You can answer with MYOB if you want.

I was 5'5" at my tallest. I've shrunk to about 5'3".

My sister was 5'3" but I don't know what she is now. When I was at her house for Thanksgiving she couldn't reach stuff. Her husband had just had thumb surgery like David's/Scooterboy so he couldn't help as much. I just ordered the following for her today as an Amazon surprise. I wrote, "Here ya go shorty." I have these and they come in handy.

I've been able to "get by" with highlighting my hair. I don't have enough gray to dye it. Hairdresser told me not to start that, so I haven't had to start dealing with the every six, or even 3-4 week hair coloring, and the highlights kind of fade out with not a lot of roots. The highlights kind of blend the gray in, but they still show up, especially from underneath my bangs, or if the sides of my hair are pulled back, more are showing up. Still, not a lot of gray for a 67 year old. My sisters, younger and older, have all been coloring their hair for many years.

Now you know all you need to know, maybe more than you care to know, about one woman and her hair color.

Thanks Lainey. All I need to know. Your brown roots are good for you.

BTW my +1 is 5'1" and I am 1/2 inch short of 6'1". Or I used to be. We have been referred to as Mutt and Jeff.

My mother is/was 5'1" and my father is/was 6'2". I think I got her legs and his torso. I definitely got his hairstyle, i.e. shiny.

I used to be 5' 2" and now on a good day I'm 5' . I have those "reacher" tools all over the house and use them quite often. Oh, Bolt, both of my children have Osgood Schlatter's. My daughter does pretty well with hers but my son who is 15 yrs older than she suffers with a lot of aches and pains.

At 79 I still have a full set of hair. I have a little graying but at my age who cares. Runs in my family on my Dads side.

I still have a full head of hair and a few hairs are struggling to maintain their original color but most are grey/silver.
