Returned two pair of jeans to Macy's today. One of them was the exact same size/style as a pair I purchased previously. However, the new ones fit terribly, needed shortening, not worth the alternations.

A receipt was not enclosed in the package(purchased them online). No big deal they told me, we can find the sale by your credit card (store card).

Insert card, scan jeans, and the message was that I had purchased the jeans over 100 days ago, too late to return them. I told the nice employee I was wearing the jeans I purchased 100 day ago. For whatever reason various attempts to use credit card and scan the jeans didn't work. Finally I thought to look at my email on my phone. I had the confirmation of delivery which showed the order #. Now we were cooking....

I got the correct credits. We'll see what happens if I get a statement. Maybe they never charged me for one pair (other pair scanned fine).

It's great to carry a little computer (iphone) around with you for days like this.

^Indeed, how did we ever live without the smart phones? I can't imagine life without one now. I love my smart phone.

The ability to live manage my doctor's appts when making them and knowing if I have a conflict 5 months from now is invaluable.
And as soon as you hit save, it's in the cloud.

OK I had a strange dream two nights ago.
During the course of the dream, I was using the term denouement in a meeting.
I got in an argument over whether I was using the term correctly. ( I was)
I got so annoyed in the dream I woke up and searched for it on my phone.
Here's the odd part. I have no recollection of ever using or even hearing of the term previously but sure enough it was on my phone the next morning.

And I thought I had weird dreams……
Interesting it was on your phone. If not, would you have assumed that you had dreamed you woke up and checked the definition?

Where is everybody? Hardly any posts yesterday and less than a handful today. Watching the news on Ukraine? Buried under snow? I'm not getting my fix of Vintage posts!

Outside. Heat wave here. 46° Picking up dozens and dozens of pine cones from prior wind/snow storms. Next is the broken pine branches. Neighbor just took off in his motorcycle - - didn't last long - - but still a sure sign spring is coming.

I'm around...had the usual routine of the Y, lunch, ran errands. Would love to be outside but it's gray and raw, and just not tempting.

Dave, how's that ankle? Still deciding what to do?

See the surgeon Friday. Nothing to decide - out of options. Just a matter of when.

Sorry to hear that. Fusion? Hope for a quick recovery. Keep us posted. Let us know if we need to send a truckload of Jim Beam for pain relief.
