Battery apparently is still good in the WRX. It's been sitting outside in sub zero temps for close to 48 hours and it just fired right up.

It's almost 25 degrees out, but no wind. I'm headed out to meet a friend. Going to make an attempt at a walk at a local fort.

Despite the weather it will feel good to get out. I was inside all day yesterday and starting to get a bit stir crazy. Felt good to get out of the house.

When the temps are 25-27 degrees, I rarely head out, but it was MOST enjoyable this afternoon. My new hiking shoes/sneakers were comfortable and kept my feet warm. I had a couple layers of clothing and my friend and I were out there almost two hours!
She took a pic of me, while I was trying to get a pic of some ducks...Like my hat with the purple pom pom?

This is our local lighthouse. I was trying to get artsy with the grass in the foreground...So calm and no wind. Pleasant January day. Rain and wind coming up next.

It sunk in today why almost every room we repainted was done in an off-white just like before . . . Timid White, Linen White, Light Gray, etc. Only did two walls were done dark. Could it be because I had to rehang 30 wall items today just on the first floor; never mind the 2nd. I know what you are thinking - - but only 9 were my paintings. I had more but I am not putting some back up. Some day I should count how many I have hanging in house, two garages, and the cold storage. Heck, just in stairway to basement there are 19 items on the walls.

Dave, you need a rotation plan for your work or the exhibit gets stale.

Ha, ha, easier said than done when you live with someone who doesn't welcome change. I can do it all I want in "my space" but not "our space", which of course is "her space".

^ Very well put. Happy wife is happy life. My wife could care less about my garage where I hang all my stuff. My work/study room though I don't study anymore is somewhat of my space but she still has to give her final approval since I don't have any artistic leaning.

There was a very bad accident about 20 miles south of me back in 2018 in which a woman crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head on killing both occupants. They found that the woman who crossed the line had drugs in her system. She finally got sentenced this week and she ended up with 13 months to serve in prison then 12 years probation in which time she can't operate a motor vehicle and 500 hours of community service. Her lawyer made a plea deal were the prosecution would drop the drug charges. I just don't get why the prosecution would agree to this.
