Apple car play issue & possible solution - Since we have lots of Honda owners I thought I would pass this along.

On a Honda CRV site an owner was frustrated because the Apple play would sometimes work and sometimes just stop working. Another poster offered this “usually it’s the cable that is the issue. Same story for Android issues with the Honda infotainment too. The connectors on cables can only withstand so many connections before going “faulty”. I recommend Anker cables from Amazon. I work as an electronic technician doing cable and battery testing, this company has always surpassed testing standards.”

Got it sorted in the end by going with a classic vehicle specialist. Agreed value of ~$US28,200, but payout can be up to 20% higher if values keep rising. Premiums dropped by $100 too.

We went to waterfalls today too, several of them. Google Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful park, tons of waterfalls, and turquoise water. Just stunning. About half way through, it began to rain. Then Pour! When we got in a cab to return to the hotel we were both wet down to our underwear. Used a hairdryer for 40 minutes on my shoes (only brought one pair) and they are still soppy in the toes. The day was worth it though. Will post pics when we get home in a couple weeks.

Great afternoon spent on the deck of our favorite pub with our favorite couple. Donna and I split our lunch - perch - but somehow it still came to $140 for the two of us. But it was so much fun to be out of the Covid Cave. The top down weather for Michigan could not have been any better anywhere in the world.

Well, you know restaurants do not make much money on the food.

I know that's why we have so few in our hood that have closed over the past 1.5 years!

That is a little steep for perch. I hope it was good!

Ha, ha, ha . . . yes, I agree. The perch was $25.00. Some adult beverages might have helped run up the tab. Plus I gave our server, someone who we really enjoy, a 30% tip.

Drove home last night with the top down it was 51 degrees but such a beautiful night, moon was like a beacon in the sky.
