I found a local camera shop to clean my cameras. Sensor spots gone!

North Carolina roads are like car guy heaven. We've done the Dragon in 2019. Yesterday we did the "Rattler." Lots of sweeping turns, some tight turns and a pleasant day to boot. No area to pull off to let someone by, or even for a safety reason. The Dragon is better in that regard. Today we drove on Route 276 part of the Copperhead. Similar to the Rattler. Another gorgeous day to enjoy top down in the P car. Cruso, on Route 276 was hit pretty hard by the flooding a few weeks ago and it's evident in the remains of "stuff" on the side of houses, debris to the side of the road, trees, etc. Some of our plans to find waterfalls in the Pisgah Forest didn't happen as those areas in the park were closed due to the flooding.

Spent some time on the Blue Ridge Parkway too. Rick "enjoyed" the tunnels. Some men never grow up.

We talked about heading back to the Dragon but I'm not feeling it. Bad karma seems to be all around. I don't want to tempt the fates.

My sister and brothers in law are in town. Meeting them in a bit for dinner. Will spend the next couple of days with them.

So far so good. Fun dinner with my sister and the Steves (as we call them.) Her husband is Steve and my late sister's husband is also Steve.
Will meet up with them tomorrow and hope for a short hike to some waterfalls. If all else fails, lots of breweries around.

Just found out my ex is selling his house in Charleston and moving to DE. So who knows, Gene or Ray may have a new neighbor. He did mention Lewes. He is going up to house hunt soon.

Another good day. A hike to a waterfall which was rather lackluster and the hike was not easy. Tree roots, lots of tree roots, rocks, mud, water. My sister took a digger. She's OK, but hurting and some colorful bruising is showing up. We ate our packed lunch after the walk, which was about two and a quarter hours, then headed to a brewery to ease her pain.
Downtown Ashville tomorrow, the Hop on, hop off tour.

We have barely scratched the surface of this area. Would certainly spend more time on the Parkway on another trip. Lousy weather starts tomorrow

Call Hagerty or Grundy to get an agreeded upon rate. I insured my 03 AP-1 for $50K for only a $150 per year than I was paying with Allstate, And I did through my Allstate agent so it did not affect my bundle.

I seriously doubt that Matt (Hertz Donut) will be able to get insurance through them, since he lives in New Zealand.

I insured my NSX through Grundy for agreed value, and am considering the same for my S2000, based on my unfortunate total loss on July 17.

We were in Asheville in 2013. On the way there it looked like this.

And then things got better.

And the best part was our new grand daughter was there to meet us. Hard to believe she is now 8 years old; just talked to her yesterday on FaceTime. Enjoy Asheville. I know we did.
