It seems our red fox is back. We have a very large patio between our building and the one next door, with big bushes. Months ago, I saw a red fox on the grass. Did not know where he went. This evening he is down there again relaxing on the grass in the same spot as before. He has black ears, black feet and a white end of tail. Wondering if he actually lives in that bush. Very cool to see in such an urban area.

Several years ago, I saw a red fox in our backyard. At first, I thought it was a dog, but looking again I realized it was a fox. I wish I had gotten a picture of it, but that was before I was one of the cool kids with an iPhone.

Yeah, tried to get a pic of him with my iPad, but he is just too small and too far away. He is still curled up down there. Nothing around to disturb him.
Looked it up. He is definitely a red fox. A distinguishing characteristic is that white on the tail.

Anyone watch "60 Minutes" tonight? Great story on Boston Dynamics and Robotics as well as a famous sports writer now covering a girls' basketball team.
Two really interesting segments.

Just did the Comcast dance for the umpteenth time. They wanted to raise the monthly rate $48. Telling them I wanted to disconnect service they chopped off $40, so the increase is $8. Did I ever mention I like the company but hate their business model where you have to play that game. As most know, you have to do that dance with Sirius XM radio.

I was thinking of calling my cell phone provider. Not sure I want to dance today.

Speaking of cell phone providers. 2 weeks ago I got a notice from AT&T of our new rates, after dropping one phone and getting off unlimited data. I couldn't believe it when the monthly charge only dropped $20. Ridiculous! I started doing some research on Consumer Reports, and found that they recommend Consumer Cellular. So, I investigated. With essentlially the same service, oudr monthly bill will be reduced by over $100, which includes a 5% AARP discount. I made the switch and after a couple minor issues getting the phones activated, I can tell no difference in service, and my son (who works for AT&T) informs me that Consumer Cellular uses the AT&T network. He admits that AT&T is considered a somewhat higher level service, but he didn't blame me for switching. After all, he gets his phone and cable service from AT&T free, so no effect on his employment.
