Indeed. Hoping the VW gives her another couple years until she's done school. $ keeps getting dumped into it. Thankfully, Rick knows some smaller reputable garages who work on these cars. Hopefully the next vehicle purchased will be more reliable. But it can't be red. Sorry, Emil, but for some reason she totally dislikes red cars. I don't know why. She was 8 or 9 when we got the Subaru WRX. She took one look at it and said "I'm not going in that. " LOL...She did, of course.

A lot of those VW's had ignition coil issues constantly that would trigger CEL's.

^ I never head that one before but I can't wait to toss it at a friend who still pains for a Karmann Ghia he had as a first sports car....now he knows better; maybe not.
