We had our less than exciting birthday yesterday with takeout since all the pubs are closed but today was a little better. Son and three boys came over. Since I find most takeout pretty crappy I had them pick up a deep dish pizza which was good. Can not go wrong with a pizza. Got an update from my oldest grandson on the new weed shop that was the first to open in our town. He was impressed. It is set up to look like an Apple store, two armed guards at the door, and two guys with iPads walking around to answer any questions. He also offered the weed was high quality and reasonably priced. I wonder how he knew?
Best part was he downloaded two VERY OLD games for Donna's iPad. Pong - the very first computer game we ever bought and Pac-Man. Sliding one's finger around is not quite the same as a toggle stick but I know she will be playing both a lot.

Sounds like you all made the best of it Dave. I haven't been keeping up with the weed thing I take it that it is legal now in Michigan. I remember Pong that was cutting edge when it first came out! I also wasted many afternoons in my early teens playing Pac-Man on atari after school over at my buddies house.

This is interesting...a couple of days ago the +1 said if I could guess how much cash he had in this big wad (we have not been spending much cash at all for months) he would give me $50. He gave me some leeway on either side of the number. I guessed $410. He counted the money and guess what? It was exactly $410. I was pretty amazed.

So now he has $360

Some of you know I design computer hardware and networking equipment.
recently I got a little WiFi tank sensor from Smartoil.com for my oil tank so I can rack when and how much oil we are using.
I am pretty proud about my skills but alas i failed.
i struggled but I simply just couldn't get it to work.
finally I broke down and read the directions.
next up is getting my golf simulator working again. I made the classic mistake of allowing an update.
of course now nothing works.
after that it's resurrecting re-imaging my mothers pixel phone and getting I working again.
