Nice! I was in the mood to do some day drinking today but spent the day sanding floors instead. It's been awhile since I had a good day of or even night of

We busted our butts all day yesterday with leaves. Having two dozen trees that are 3-story high surround the property makes our yard very high maintenance this time of the year. At the most perhaps 25% have dropped. Still a long, long way to go. Drained and rolled up about 300' feet of hose in the front. I'm leaving the back hose on for a few more days to do the final wash on the MG after some outings.

Thankful, most of the trees that shed leaves are across the street. Very little lawn clean up needs to be done.
I went to my Y class today, got beat up a bit, came home, showered, washed and blow dried the hair. Rick then informs me it's a top down day!! OK, baseball cap goes on the head...so much for the good hair day, but I'll take a top down day in November. We hit a local nature trail for a couple of miles.
Maybe more top down time over the weekend, nice weather headed our way.

Lainey we are definitely in top down weather. Just built a fire to light up tonight with chairs, blue tooth, etc. And, set up an MG drive for Sat for a deck lunch. The thing about living with four seasons is you know you need to enjoy what you have when you have it. Even brought the fake Xmas tree out of cold storage to the house today so we won't have to deal with doing that in the snow.

No top down for me as our roads are covered in salt but still enjoying the warm weather we are having it got up into the 70's today. Started blowing leaves last Thursday then we got snow so went back to it today finished first job and banged out another one and will resume another tomorrow. Maybe get some day drinking in on Saturday

We spent another 3 hours today on the leaves just from an oaks night drop. I never added it up; not sure I want to; but it wouldn't surprise me to learn we spend about 3 hours every day at least 5 to 6 days a week for 2 to 3 weeks on leaf clean up. Even backing up to woods I have to mulch them before blowing them into the woods, otherwise there would be a wall of leaves too high to put anymore in.

Yikes!
We had time for a trip to enjoy social hour with the Y ladies (me), put the P car to bed (Rick) lunch at home, then top down in the S2000. Headed to the bike path for a walk about 2 miles, from there over to local fort on the water, then back home to sit and goof off.
I think I'm glad our yard is small and treeless.
