This thread and the change to cold weather motivated me to restock my mice killers. I set out 3 traps with peanut butter and 9 can tins with poison, in addition to having 3 high pitch noise things in all the time. You'll appreciate this. 2 of the traps are old fashion and 1 is a newer style with yellow plastic. I wasn't paying attention when I grabbed the latter, which for some reason was already set to go off. OH MY - WOW - does that ever hurt. Sure enough it got my thumb!!

I wasn't going to mention it but I did the same thing and whacked myself on the fingernail.

If you like animal webcams, the National Zoo has several...I have been focusing on the Giant Panda baby, but check out these other ones. The ferret is going a little crazy this morning! And the baby elephant is lying down.

I tweaked my back the other day. It's much better but I decided walking would be the exercise of choice for a couple days. I managed my 10k steps. This AM I was meeting a friend and her grandson at a local fort. Playgrounds, walking paths on the water. I decided to pack my kites. The little guy is four and I was surprised how long kite flying kept his attention. It's fun to be around little kids. We were not too close for any length of time. His grandmother snapped this pic of us. I took one of him too. I love having the option to do this stuff mid week

I had to tear down my computer system and move it so we could install the windows in my office.
I guess i wasn't diligent enough in marking which little AC-DC converters went to which monitor or switch or router.
so now I'm playing the are you my mother game with the power supplies. arrrrghh

I've gotten my outdoor clean-up around the house done and started in on detailing the S today. I polished the rims and the exhaust tips and put on some touch up paint. Cleaned the interior and treated the leather the other day so next will be polish and wax the paint and light covers. Also made an appointment to get my snows mounted at the end of this month. The last two years when I called in late October to have it done they were 3 to 4 weeks out till the next available appointment so figured it would make sense to call early.

As much as I hate to admit it. I already have my snows on. I never swapped onto the summer tires last spring.
not hat it mattered much since we didn't go anywhere anyways.
