^^^ Any older Volvo's around that you could get your son. Those things are tanks. The old Volvo 240'S were rear wheel drive they made them from 1974 to 1993.

I did consider them, but there's a grand total of zero for sale in the entire country right now. There's a 122 for sale but I could buy another decent S2000 for what they're asking. He's 6ft tall already so he's going to be a big man, which rules out Miatas, not that they'd be the safest option at the best of times.

I could always look at an early 2000s-era Holden Commodore I guess, although now they're no longer made they're shooting up in price.

For those who are golfers...this should make you feel good. A four-year-old made a hole in one at a course in WV.

Hard to believe it's been a year since my younger sister passed. She is very much missed, but all of us are trying to celebrate her and who she was today.

My sister and my brother in law's sister are coming over for pizza and salad tonight. My sister loved pizza. My youngest sister is camping at Huntington State Beach, SC, which is close to where they live, and it was my sister's favorite spot. My brother in law is with his son in MD. Covid restrictions were a bit much for him to travel to NY right now, his other son lives there.

We can't be together, but she'd like what we've arranged. We will try for a family zoom tomorrow evening.

And on another topic, a reminder for parents to not spend too much $ or let their kids spend too much $ for their first car. Daughter in law's niece just totaled a 2017 Kia Soul. Not sure if it was totally distracted driving, friends in car or what. Plowed into the rear end of another car at a red light. Her car actually caught fire! No major injuries, but she was cited and this accident will ultimately cost $$$ with insurance surcharges, possible fine for the citation, lawsuit if someone decides their injuries were not minor, etc, Then there is the need to replace the car so she can get to her co- op job.

She got her license a while ago, but hadn't done much driving, until she got her own car. Inexperienced for sure.

Wow, it's been a year already? It seems like less time. Of course, Covid-19 has messed up my sense of time.
