I used to remember license plates of family and friends. Not so much anymore.
Came out in the early 80's, Tommy TuTone. I remember license plates also but I have found that it really freaks people out when they don't know their own license plate and you do.

Probably mentioned this elsewhere but one of the three exchanges at the hospital where I used to work was 867. Our privacy officer could be reached at extension 5309. So her direct line was.....yup. She got a LOT of prank calls so she had our telecom folks change her extension on the switch. x-5309 was retired permanently.

So I got my red, white and blue Medicare card in the mail with the expected effective date in August. I went on line to enroll in the supplements. Blue Cross web site had a drop down box for the months in which a plan would become effective. It was too soon for August. The enrollment time frame would be three months before the big birthday, so that would be May. OK. I then checked into the Part D supplement that Rick has. I filled in the blanks, listed the effective date of my Medicare and proceeded. My application was accepted................so it said. I got a letter in the mail that said my application was not accepted as I was not within the enrollment period. So, WTH did the web site let me continue?

Just a petty annoyance in these times. I left the letter on my desk to remind myself to enroll at the beginning of May.

Rob, I was thinking that you are quite a bit younger than age 65.

Yes Sue I am I was going to add at the end of my statement that I'm glad I have a ways to go but didn't.
