Here's a song that only people who live in this area have ever heard! (The video does give you a few good pics of Cape May, though.)

By the way, I will be attending, as well as organizing the Lewes/Cape May Ferry trip for those interested who are coming from the south and west. Stay tuned.

As soon as I saw "song" in the post, I knew what it was. Reminds me of when I was a kid.

I hope Legal Bill is still gonna make this...he seems to be going the Granny route. Please come on down, LB! Besides, you are supposed to preside over the commitment ceremony.
Who is being committed...Granny or LB

we'll be taking the ferry across (and back) Gene. Let me know when you're ready.

Philly and Baltimore are your best bets (unless you can get something cheap to Newark).

Philly to Cape May is ~1-1 1/2 hrs. not real far. Baltimore is an option, but it will take a bit longer (but if the fare is good.)
Newark is ~2-2 1/2 hrs.
Thank you, Ken. I'll add Baltimore to my notes.

We are interested but are concerned about the clearance issue for our cars.

BTW .... thanks again for the contribution of prizes at the reception at the Nor'easter!

I plan to do a test trip later in the fall to verify the clearance question. I don't really think it's going to be an issue, though. Plus, I will talk to them about getting assurance that we can all load together. (I know someone who knows someone!)

You're welcome!

Long Beach to Dulles on Jet Blue? (just asking)
Dulles will put you out ~3:00. That one might be a little far, unless the fare is a steal.

There won't be an issue unless your car is larger than a semi or intercity bus
