nord -> non
est -> non
sud -> oui
ouest -> oui

...and it would be about 125 miles out of the way for you. Good decision!

Round trip, Gene. Sorry I wasn't clear b4, but I needed to ask Jim about his preferences. I'm still good on either time and will schedule for whatever time the majority chooses.

Time? One-way or round-trip?
Clarify '$40' for me (is that 1-way?...per ferry?...round trip?, etc.). Then I'll know whether its round trip or not. Thanks

I've not decided yet whether we are doing the ferry. I'll let you know. Count me out for now.

Per the ferry web-site, the one-way fare, with no discounts, is as follows:

Vehicle & driver: $34.00
Adult passenger: 9.50
Total: $43.50

Round trip as follows:
Vehicle & driver: $63.00
Adult Passenger: 15.00
Total: $78.00

As I said before, I will be talking to my contact to see what discounts we can get. However, before I talk to her, I need to get an idea of how many cars to plan for.

Thanks, Val. So noted.

If you change your mind, let me know. We still have about a month to make final plans.

I'll commit to one-way for now Gene. Either time, flexible there. Oh, and if you would, edit my screen name to remove the 'i' .

Depending on discounts, might be in position to do round-trip. Sorry, but I'm a young that's still workin' for a livin' and don't got wads of cash yet . Or is my position simply a result of our depressed economy in general

Done.
Sorry about the extraneous "i." Not sure how it got there. Could have been the 3rd glass of wine I had when I posted!

Just FYI: The alternative route returning from Cape May to the Richmond area, via roads, will cost you an extra 125 miles or so, and about $10 or so in bridge and road tolls.
