I've seen channel 5 and 13.1 ....... what the "standard" radio channel for this event?

None set yet. I'm using 5 for the group that's coming in from the Binghamton direction Friday morning. Since some may only have FRS radios, 5 is a safe channel. In the hilly Finger Lakes, you'll be lucky to get a 1 mile range unless you're on a hill, anyway.

We'll arrange the drive group frequencies that morning, I suspect.

I will subscribe to Channel 5 on the approach and I just sent a PM to everyone currently showing in my drive group that the Saturday drive channel will be determined at the drivers meeting based on the capabilities that their radios have.
