Senseless Tragedy - Local teacher killed last night at the mall
The senseless killings continue. Not guns, this time, but fatal stabbing. This happened last night in Taunton, MA; you may have seen it on the news. Taunton is only about 15 minutes from where we live. Among the victims was a teacher at the Voke Tech school my granddaughter attends. One report says he lives in Canton, where Legal Bill resides. The suspect was gunned down by an off duty law enforcement officer. The suspect had also been at a hospital in Taunton for some kind of psych issue. They released him. This may once again show the sad state of care for the mentally ill. If not for the off duty officer, this could have been much worse.

So very sad. I saw it on the news but no mention of the mental issues, although that seemed apparent.

Seems like an every day occurrence. A good high school student and person was attacked and killed by 3 high school students last week in the girls high school bath room. She was beaten by one while the other 2 watched and died of cardiac arrest. She did not know she had a heart condition but it doesn't matter. The beating killed her period. And, the attack was premeditated. The student who beat her will probably get 8 years the others possibly a year. A first for our state and it sent shock waves throughout it. We are living in a violent world and I fear it is only going to get worse.

ugh even worse they are now reporting that he went to the hospital "because the devil was inside of him"
instead of treatment they kicked him loose after 11 hours....
as many of you know this is a hot button issue for me.
We need to fix the treatment capability.
One flew over the Cuckoo's nest was a long time ago and while it served a purpose but instead we know have hundreds of thousands walking the streets with no help.
