Chris and I had a nice date last night. It was our 20th anniversary. 23 years together.

Happy Big Five-Oh to Vito!

Congratulations, to Jim and Chris on twenty years of marriage, and to still going strong.

Unofficial commitment...
^Hey, Jim, are you sure it's 20 and not 21 years? In Deb's thread, you said 2008 was 20 years.

The Hunkster and I had a fab dinner last night. We had never been to 1789, which is in a lovely Georgetown townhouse with alot of history. Next door is The Tombs, a longtime popular hangout for Georgetown University students. He had pheasant and I had rack of lamb, both superb. Everything about the evening was amazing. There was a gentlemen's quartet walking about singing Christmas carols. I had requested a certain table location for his birthday, which we got. He also got a menu printed with Happy Birthday and the date. And a Happy Birthday and candle on the dessert, which they comped. If you are ever in DC and want a special dining experience, 1789 is it! Our other favorite dining place is the Tabard Inn, near Dupont Circle, where we are going for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner.
