I'm happy to say that October 16th, 2005 I will officially be a Vintage member . And I look forward to that with much anticipation. The Bruised Banana has been, and will continue to be a terrific automobile. However, the friends I've made through this community have really made Life enjoyable over the last few years. Actually, more than words can say .
I wish each and every one of us health and happiness in '05. May all your loved ones prosper in spirit and body. God be with you and yours, and keep watch over, and protect you in all that you do.

I don't want to start a big ol' mushy love-fest again, 'cuz it seems like that happens pretty often in this here Vintage Owners forum, but...
I sure am glad that this forum exists here on S2ki.com and that I made friends with a bunch of people I would never have met otherwise. I'm really glad that Andy and I went back to the Vintage Spring Fling in April 2004 and the Fall Colors Tour in October 2004. It's fun to talk to each other on the site but it's wonderful to actually have met many of you in the flesh too. My life is richer because of it.

Here are two nice things that happened yesterday while no one was watching.
1. President Bush pledged, on behalf of the United States Government, that the United States contribution to the disaster relief would be $350 million (up from the $35 million originally pledged).
2. Japan pledged disaster relief of $500 million.
The combined total of $850 million should go a long way towards helping those affected by the tsunami. Maybe 2005 will be the year of international cooperation. That's a really nice thought.
