Because???
Another recent change has to with who can see your pics and your profile info. Limit this to Only Friends, or anyone thats on Facebook will be able to see everything you've posted on Facebook.
You can also block certain users from searching for and finding you on Facebook. Further you can also block people from sending you a friend request and provide access only to people on your list to recommend that you add someone.
Its all about how much info you have on there and how much you want to restrict it. S2KI does not have all those controls.

I didn't pop up as the first hit on Google. Additional searching shows 500+ people using my name or one similar.
I have no photo or personal info out there, and all my settings are "friends only" except folks can see my avatar which tells them nothing.
Since I use an alias, I think I'm pretty secure.
Thanks for the info.

^ My intent was not to offend or categorize anyone. My apologies if I came across in that manner. I have a lot of respect for this forum and I'd not hasten to label or judge anyone. I've written about your forum for the front page and I've had the opportunity to follow some of the discussion on here. So I hope that clears the misunderstanding.
That said I still stand by what I said. Every generation learns by trial and error.

It was not my intent to offend anyone either. On this forum we tend to speak our minds and give our opinions and walk away at the end of the day still being great friends (most of the time ).

sure i'll dig it up again but the way i read it - it works the same as the google ads
now i'm not too sure if you can buy a Ferrari or a cup of coffee BUT more eyes on s2ki equals more ad revenue for the owners and didn't you say there were already a lot more folks looking at s2ki when this new FB button was instituted
more people looking at the google ads equals more $$$ unless of course these people know how to use adblockplus
