Sure folks could Google stuff and find us, however, with the facebook connection, it's like our "privacy" such as it was (I know it wasn't really private) is all gone.

The driver behind Facebook and all the other 'social' networks can be summed up with three letters - S E X. Trust me, it's not about S2000. That's what the S2000 is all about for many of our younger owners as well.

I got on Facebook because we were trying to organize a class reunion. It worked out well, and since the reunion many, many more have joined the group. I don't spend a ton of time on there any more, though - used to consume quite a bit of time, as did S2KI. If there's something directed to me, Facebook will forward the message to my e-mail and let me know. I do like to check in every week or so just to catch up on what's going on. I have a couple of cousins I've been out of touch with since we were kids and we now stay in touch because of Facebook. As far as "What happens in S2KI stays in S2KI".....uh....have you Googled your on-screen name and "S2KI"? I mean, they can't get your private info, but they also won't if you don't post your private stuff on Facebook.

Big daughter set wife and I both up on facebook. She claims that she does not have time to go through e-mail when she has 5 kids to raise so she uses facebook instead.
5 kids = her daughter, son-in-law, and their 3 kids.

If I didn't like those people when I was in fifth grade, what makes them think I want to talk to them now on Facebook? 
It's interesting how we seemed more "connected" with friends and family before all the electronic social networking took over.
