Default S2000 gone but not forgotten

I sold my S2000 to a friend last spring. Over the weekend, I heard from her and she had traded it in on a new car. It turns out she was looking at a Veloster Turbo with a manual but they are hard to find, so she switched to the Civic SI. She needed something more practical than the S since it was a daily driver. She ended up with a 2013 Civic SI in gray.

She let me drive it on Sunday, and it is really a nice car. I was skeptical that I was going to fit, but I did. Earlier in the year, I had looked at Pilots and Ridgelines but they were too small (not enough legroom), so I thought there was no way I would fit in a Civic. Well I was surprised, it actually has a lot of legroom.

Anyway, it drove very nicely. Good brakes, good power, lots of goodies (back-up camera, nice audio system, etc). Quite an impressive little car. Its not an S, but it sure is a lot more practical than the S without giving up too much performance-wise.

I had a 2006 Si. It was my daily driver. I gave it to my son and with 98,000 he's enjoying it.

The Si is a great car.

We had an a 1986 Civic Si that we put 253,496 miles on before it died in our drive way the day before the tags expired. What more could want to ask of a car?

John, this makes a lot more sense than my story: Sold my '00 to a good friend in '05 when I traded up to an '03. As I reported here, he enjoyed and drove it for another 65k miles...but

-traded it in on an '12 Prius V. I posted this news here and there was not a lot of "understanding" but a lot of and

Put 293,600 on the 04 RSX-S before I traded it in on the 13 Genesis coupe!
