I've been here since day 1. I came over here from Honda-Acura.net. The site was hacked a few times and we lost alot of information, which at the time was not easy to come by since the S2000 was in it's first year.

We also sometimes went to Superhonda.

I found it in the latter part of 2003 when one of my coworkers (who was a S2000 owner) showed me a thread by tenblade2001 bad mouthing my dealership. I joined up and argued tenblade - today we are great friends and I try to take care of each S2000 owner that comes through our door personally.

I also happened to be in the market for a more fun car to replace my 2003 Accord and was looking at a Supra, Boxster, and Audi TT. This site pushed me in the direction of the S2000 and after months of searching, I found my 2001 (the only year I was interested in) in the "For Sale" forum!

Today, I think back on all the positive influences and changes to my life this site has been......and continues to be

Someone asked me at the dealership if I knew that there was a S2000 club. I said I didn't and didn't think I'd be interested in joining anything like that, especially if it was going to cost me even more money. Silly me! One day here at work during a slow period, I thought I'd look up the site just to see what it was about. I reluctantly started posting in the other forums when Zippy directed me to Vintage (thanks again Zip). I told him I thought that was for vintage S2000s but couldn't figure out how a 3-yr-old car could be considered vintage. I visited this forum and the rest is history and like someone above said, I've been hooked ever since. I also looked at the other club but didn't feel that I knew anybody there. Plus was already hooked on our "regulars" here. So, to this day, I, along with anyone who knows how much fun I'm having with this club can only say "Who Knew?"

I found this site through a search engine the same day that I bought the car. However, I think it was a few weeks before I ventured into the Vintage forum because I thought Vintage referred to cars, not people.

[QUOTE=matt_inva,Dec 26 2004, 08:00 PM] I was turned on to this S2Ki by our "real world" friend that is the Community Organizer in Hawaii, Colin.

I was directed to S2KI by the Honda site. I am also grateful for the wealth of information and experience available here, this site has really helped me to enjoy my S2K much more, and has even gotten me interested in participating in track events.

Kudos to S2KI!

But we have many newer members......how did you find out about this great website? Did you discover the Vintage S2000 forum right away?
Well, I found ClubS2000 with a web search which led me through conversations to Sheely's first site S2000fans. After HA.net and SHO.com and S200online, and God knows all the others, I get an email from Rick Hesel announcing S2Ki for Eric and that's how I got here.

I discovered vintage after Jerry sent me an email. I had almost completely stopped posting (not that I ever posted that much, see PPD) and only visited the DelVal forum. Now I visit DelVal and here.

Well I stumbled upon this site while doing some pricing research at the time I was looking for my baby. I believe it was either google or yahoo search engines. I was just a lurker for about a month until I made my purchase and signed up here. The rest is history!
