Last night Jerry and I watched the American Music Awards. That sure made me feel old. Never heard of most of the winners. Guys probably loved the show. Lots of leg and thigh.
My opinion of the AMA's And what was up with the guy that had diamond encrusted gold teeth? WTF!

I didn't catch that guy.

I was glad Daughtry won something. I have his CD too and like it.

I like Daughtry too, have a few songs on my iTunes now.

I don't watch the awards show either. Gotta save my limited TV watching time for my favorite shows now

Thanks Uncle Jerry I would elaborate but I don't want to be banned from Vintage

I love Nickelback. (Where's Carmen - he should be posting here!) The +1 and I like alot of the same music, interestingly enough, since he's younger. We both love heavy metal (saw AC/DC a couple of weeks ago, and like Metallica and Guns n Roses). I know more of the newer groups than he does. We listen to mostly current music in the car.

Daughtry opened for Bon Jovi last time we saw him. He was good. And last night we saw Tina!!!!!!! She was A-W-E-S-O-M-E. That woman is incredible.

Don't like Patricia's choice of music, eh?
^^ It's not necessarily Patricia's choice of music. It's that while she's driving, the XM or CD music is blasting, her Garmin Navi System "lady" is chattering away, and her Valentine Radar Detector is beeping & squawking...ALL SIMULTANEOUSLY!! I don't know how she does it.

I prefer to hear the S's exhaust note over my music, I use a map instead of a Navi System, and I don't need a Radar Detector since I haven't had a speeding ticket in 45+ years. And, yes, my S is driven...well over 100 mph, many times. So, the two cars on our Colorado road trip worked out great!

I'm gonna geuss that Patty is like some of us here who are at least marginally ADD.

Think of us as multi-core processors, we work best with multiple concurrent threads executing.

^^

I am by no means criticizing her. I'm just amazed at her ability to have all that going on. It reminds me too much of work...everybody clamoring for my attention, and feeding me information they think I need

I'm not like you, TG!

Just like to rock out on occasion. As a matter of fact, now's the time to hit the home fitness system out in the garage and hear some good Nickleback again.
