Default Rusting History

I got a hankerin to take some pictures today. This is something I've been considering for a few weeks and today seemed to be an opportune time to do so. The wife and I gathered a few snacks, some water, warm jackets and hit the hills. Some of the stuff is isolated and alone, some sit in the company of others. All have seen better days. I've known about some of this stuff for 25 years. I'm sure some of it has been sitting 40 or more years. To bad I don't have a time machine. Maybe some of you can identify the year and make of this vintage iron. Enjoy a trip down Auto memory lane.

Thanks, Javelin 360. What a great collection of pictures. I think the upright coupe is a forties Chevy, and the split window sedan is a thirties Chrysler product. The fastback two door is probably a forties Buick or Chevrolet...

The front of the unidentified car looks like the outline of a Chevy emblem, but I'm not certain.

I think the S2ks will be more like collectable cars (Corvettes, 60s roadsters, etc).

There will be few of these cars on the scrap heap for the following reasons

Hopefully in 40 years, 50-somethings will look nostalgically at the S2ks and bid them up. We can watch and tell anyone in earshot,
