I liked Karl thanks for posting it Dave. Didnt realize he was that elderly. Been the saddest time ever for celebrity deaths these past few weeks.

Er...ah...if you count David Carradine we're not far from a month now. Malden was great - sort of like Richard Boone in that he wasn't so much for looks but he sure could act.

Loved Karl Malden - a really great actor. Some classic roles like "On the Waterfront", one of my fave movies.

Lots of classic roles for an actors actor. A Streetcar Named Desire, Patton, Streets of San Francisco and 21 years advertising for American Express. Obviously lived a good life. 97 and married to the same woman for 70 years. RIP Karl.

Of all the recent celebrity passings these last few days, it seems to me that Malden's is the most cause for celebration of a life. If I make it to 97 I will have no complaints.
