Default ricks vs. muz carpets

I'm doing my Christmas wish list and of the first things on it is a good floor mat.

Do any of you have the Muz or Ricks flor mats? if so how do you like, and do you have a preference between the two.

I also noticed that Muz has a 5% discount, does Ricks offer one too??

Thanks,

Willinathen

We have the Muz mats. I think they are the "Prestige" ones. We are very happy with them.

Not sure of the difference between the Muz mats and Rick's.

I have the Ricks wool ones, they fit and feel great, they shed just a bit when new, but I really like them, I think the consensus is you can't go wrong with either.
Cheers, Mike

I've always wanted them but haven't sprung for them.

We really don't have any static issues here in FL (too humid) so I can't really comment. They do an excellent job of covering the frame rail on the pass side. (where my fiance' loves to keep her feet)

I have MUZ. They are very good. No static issues since I received them in May '06

I have the wool version of Rick's mats ($400) which I bought last month. They fit well, and are well made, but I'm disappointed with the color. My car is Sazuka Blue and the blue color in Rick's floor mats doesn't contrast enough to complement the color of the carpet in the car, nor is it close enough to be a good match. Maybe the blue mats match better with a different color car. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't buy them (let me know if you want to buy mine). I also would have expected such expensive custom-made mats to have an S2000 logo on them. Rick's mats don't.

I have had Muz Prestige mats for 2 years. They are great and I have no static issues.

Don't blame Rick for that. Blame up tight lawyers at AHM.
