Seems most people get something that is either the wrong size, color or something they just don't like. Are you returning anything this year? As for myself I was lucky in that everything was "just right".

I got a gift certificate to Starbucks and a hiking hydration system. Both fit me fine. I look forward to the time I can use the Camelback on a hike.

I got my first iPod!!!!!

Good! I use mine at the gym or in the garage in an iPod player/speaker dealie. I like that they are so easy to use, once you get the hang of them. BTW, how are you doing?

We do not exchange gifts so I had no returns or exchanges. I did get some nice gifts from a dinner party I attended ....... coffee and home made cookies!

Also, my client gave me a beautiful gift of things that represented her life of 2007 and its best/worst times. (movie DVD, yoga DVD, book, CD of an artist she met and came to know at her home in Maine, several boxes of inspirational matches, a lovely candle, an energy drink/snack, a bouquet of six blooming teas and two pairs of shower exfoliating gloves) She included a letter describing how each item represented a segment of her challenges and victories. It was very moving ... I felt honored to receive it since we have never been intimate before now. ( I have cared for her atrium plants for eight years.)

I really like her as a person ... I think I will buy her flowers on a rainy day.

I got a gift certificate for $30 to Barnes N Noble from the two ladies who run the alternate school (independent study via computers) , where I tutor for free, when they call. The card said I was an angel. I like that. Made me feel good. It's nice to be appreciated.
