I tried earlier today to change my image avatar, then discovered that I couldn't even access my picture gallery.

Later on, I discovered that my membership had expired a few weeks ago. I quickly renewed membership, but wonder why S2Ki doesn't just send out at least one email reminder?

It only expired a few weeks ago? I would have thought it expired on your 1 year anniversary, 219 days ago. I don't know why they don't send out a reminder but I know you can't renew until your membership is expired and not a day sooner. I just went through it.

I think the anniversary date starts when you sign up as a guest and not a member.....I wish reminders would be sent out too.

This anticipates a question I was going to ask: If you renew early, does the new membership start immediately or tack on to the end of your current one?

But the practical results of this (rather clunky) limitation are that being a Guest for a little while has to be considered "normal" and that we all have to be narcissistic enough to look at our avatar's label all the time. HPH

When I first got on the site - two or three system upgrades ago - there was an auto renewal notice. But somehow it broke (obsolete software?) and Erik (cthree) has been too busy fixing other things to straighten it out. It's on the list, but not sure where!
