It can be overwhelming with the choices. The main thing is to know what colors you like. I picked out everything for the remodels of my master bath and guest bath (done twice). No designer but you might want to consider one. Just hired a contractor to oversee the installation, who used a sub for the tile work. Remember my blow by blow threads? I still like the baths. One thing I put new in both was a rainhead shower fixture. Still love that. The master bath has that along with a handheld and tub faucet. So the control fixture has positions for each one. The guest bath has only two settings for shower and handheld. One thing I wish I could have had was a frameless shower door. But the size of the area in both baths was too small. So both baths have curtains.

Patty, that shower looks very rustic. To me the floor would look great with river rock. Not a fan of that sink either. I like undermounted sinks. Much easier for cleaning the counters. Have one in the kitchen, too.

Yeah, I love real wood and rustic.

My problem with those sinks is using them. Why go back in time with a bowl on a table? The high sides make washing your face and everything else more difficult.

I installed that exact same tile at my last home, as flooring. It is my favourite style of tile, much more durable than real wood or laminate, and nicer looking than most styles of tile, I think it is a great product. I never thought of it in a shower setting but anything is possible I guess. It looks nice.

Not a fan of that bowl either but I do like the wall mounted faucet.
I despise our little stubby bathroom faucet that barely clears the edge of the sink in the first floor bath.
The only reason it hasn't been replaced is my wife and I can't agree on the finish.
The shower stall has a finish that is either goldish brass or brassy gold but nothing matches it and we aren't ripping out the shower.

You can mix metals these days. Does not have to be matchy matchy.

I peed in the sink once in my life, it was at a gas station on a long family trip. There was only one toilet and my young son had to use it, it was hard for me to hold my pee so the sink was a tempting option (sometimes kids take a long time to pooh). When we got back in the car my son ratted me out to my wife, my wife thought it was the most disgusting thing she ever heard lol. Hey a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do sometimes.

it makes me think back to some of the college beer parties.
There'd be 4 urinals and 3 sinks, all in use.
