the area looks very causal... I agree, it's more a bar setting off a deck. That bowl might be for shilling a bottle of wine. Or, for catching it on the way out.
I approve of the wall color....it was the furnishings.....

At work we would always remark at what a job it must be to name colors!

Sherwin Williams call this one Upward. Yep, that's definitely having to get creative with color names.

Our front and rear entrance doors are painted a similar colour as those doors, we did the garage door the same matching colour too. I like the colour. The item under the table looks like a storage bin , maybe for kids toys or pet toys. ?

Dave,
Haven't you ever had a cat? It's a litter box.

Well as I was ventilating the dogs upon rising this morning, my wife popped her out of the door and said "no water". A quick check of the plumbing and contacts revealed nothing but the reset button on the control panel at the well head went buzzzzz for about 15 seconds. Sure enough, a new motor is required. Ten years ago it was $3500, today a new one installed is $5K.

The pulling up the old pump and new pipe is the killer.

Looks like I may be joining this thread soon. We are now exploring options to redo our master bath. The tile choice is overwhelming, to say the least, not to mention the possible design changes and the choice of contractors.

I saw some wood looking tile in a shower and I loved it. I don't like the floor, wall or cabinet and hate those raised sinks, but I'd love to have that shower tile.
