Default ralper wins best post of the year

ralper was just announced as post of the year --- https://www.s2ki.com/home/2014/10/09...per/#more-5860

He wrote a beautiful story about his son and the S2000. Read it and enjoy it.

Wow. I know he won post of the month, but post of the year as well? I know it is a great post, but you'd think the admins would give other people a chance. There's still over two months left in the year.

Yeah, I don't think anybody has been talking about Rob winning September POTM at all in any other threads here in the past week or so.

Now it's time for the October POTM. This month's contest is all about the builds. From engine mods to custom body kits, it's time to highlight some of the one-of-a-kind S2000s that the community has to offer.

And the person who nominates the winner gets a cool custom badge (yes you DO need those stinkin' badges!) at the end of the month.

As us Vintage members have known for years, Rob does have a knack for creative writing. It is nice that other members of the S2Ki community may now be aware of his talent.

See! I told you! NO ONE is talking about it at all! Just like the "entities that be" are conspiring to keep critical information away from the public about how deadly certain viruses are and "they" are keeping the news of the outbreak out of the headlines and "they" are making sure we don't know anything factual about it and... And dang! Look at that! The sky is falling. And aliens just threw an acorn at me!

Sorry. I digress. Different thread.

PS You saw the wink, right?

Yes, we need a sarcasm emoticon. If I had any graphics skills, I'd get to work on that. Right now I'm too busy with my tin foil hat making class.

The interesting thing is that all of the posts in that thread (post of the month) are winners. They are all very good. Some are narrative like mine and some are very technical. All are worth reading.
