I am so saddened to hear this. I enjoyed John's posts so much. We had the pleasure of meeting him at Watkins Glen and enjoyed his company at other meets along the way. Vintage has lost a wonderful member.

Please give Bette and all of John's family our deepest sympathy.

Oh my.

He was a good friend. I will personally miss him.

Please keep us posted on the funeral arrangements. I may be able to attend.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. It certainly comes as a shock.

I have always enjoyed his posts and have enjoyed talking with him and his wife at some of the meets.

Our sincere condolences to his whole family.

I am very shocked and saddened to read this news. I just had a very nice lunch with John and his wife, Bettye, a couple of weeks ago.
My deepest sympathies to Bettye and the rest of John's family.

I just talked to John on Thursday about SF10. Such terrible sad news. Our love goes out to Bettye and family.
