Excpected really. You shoot and then have a wounded, bleeding fish thrashing around. Of course a shark will be interested. That is why I never tied fish to myself when spearfishing. You don't want sharks to mistake you for the dead fish. Sometimes you need to give up your kill for another bad ass predator.
