Sad to say, but the Huckabee/Norris story is apparently true. I've read about it all over the political blogs, including one that had a video of a commercial Norris made. If I can find it again, I'll post a link.

Mitt Romney? Mike Huckabee? Some other joker I've never heard of linked in someone's sig here at S2KI? Where do they find these goobers? I have to hand it to the Dems -- at least I've heard of those goobers like Kucinich. He may be a joke but at least he has name recognition. I'm with Rob on this one. Bad comedy is all I see coming.

I don't think this has to go to politics if it remains a discussion of the stupid ad and not a discussion of the politics or politcians. But, it's doubtful that will happen since we vintagers seems easily distracted and drawn into other discussions than the OP started. Just my .02. YMMV.

I've given this further thought and decided that it was only a matter of time before someone did something along these lines. We have all seen celebrity endorsements in the past. Now we are seeing the endorsements being made in character (by characters). I'm sure we will soon see candidates appearing in MTV videos being endorsed by Rap and Rock artists doing tribute performaces for the campaign. Then maybe CBS will create a reality show around the campaign and election. And finally, we can just toss out the current election format and substitute it with a 10 week TV show; Survivor, the Presidential Edition.

It would no doubt be better than the "reality" crap that's on now. And why do they call it "reality"? I've never eaten a bird whole and wouldn't for money. To me, there is absolutely nothing "real" about "reality" tv. It's just cheap crap to produce and fill up TV slots without spending vast sums on real actors and screen writers. Another to reality tv producers!
