OK, right, but well that's an aftermarket tuner P-car with an American 'Road and Track' nickname.

It's a car, it's made in Germany by Germans.
"Ruf Automobile GmbH is a German automobile manufacturer. Rufs are built from unmarked Porsche bodies and chassis. When a chassis arrives, Ruf builds their own independent work into the car. Because Ruf installs many of their own-made parts instead of simply badge engineering, the company is recognised as a manufacturer by the German government. Ruf is mostly known for their CTR Yellowbird"
If it's from Wiki it's official....
How about the Buick Skyhawk?
or the Riley Kestrel?

Actually, I had forgotten; i once owned an Adler (Eagle) motorcycle when I was a student in Germany.
In the 1920s and 1930s the Adler company had manufactured Adler automobiles. So Adler was a brand name like Mercedes Benz or BMW. They made cars named, among others, the Adler 'Standard 6', the Adler 'Standard 8', and the Adler 'Trumpf' from about 1927 to 1935.
Adler Standard 6
Adler Trumpf cabriolet
After WWII they manufactured motorcycles, typewriters, and office equipment.
